The Protector Guardrail system is suitable for flat and slightly pitched roofs (up to 5°), including bitumen, EPDM, PVC membrane, gravel and green roofs. Specialised base plates provide a stable footing without penetrating the roof deck.

No. The system is ballast-mounted without penetrating the roof deck. This eliminates the risk of leaks and preserves the manufacturer's warranty on the roofing membrane.

In accordance with EN ISO 14122-3 and NEN-EN 13374, the minimum height is 1,000 mm measured from the walking surface. The Protector Guardrail system meets Class A, B and C requirements depending on configuration.

A typical project of 100 linear metres is usually completed in a single working day by a certified installer. Larger projects are scheduled based on a roof survey and site preparation.

An annual visual inspection by a certified party is sufficient in most cases. An additional check is recommended after extreme weather events (storm ≥ force 10). All components are corrosion-resistant stainless steel or powder-coated steel.

Yes. Because the system is not anchored to the roof, dismantling and repositioning is possible. This makes it suitable for temporary protection during renovations as well as permanent use.
